ARCHITECTURAL AND AESTHETIC CONTROL

The Lake Ashton CC&Rs prescribe the role of the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) in Section 5. The CC&Rs Section 6 provide the General Covenants and Use Restrictions for the community that the community has commissioned the ARC with upholding.

The community has developed a companion document over the years to provide supplemental detailed information that may not be in the CC&Rs.  This document is called the Design Review Guidelines.  This is a living document that is maintained by the ARC and requires approval by the Board of Directors for all changes except for the inclusion of alternate paint colors and roofing brands/color.
 

ARC Requests are processed in a third party application called ARC Tracker. When you need to submit an ARC Request, simply go to ARC Tracker and either create an account or sign-in if you already have an account.  Once in the system, in the top area right is a button labeled as "New Architectural Request" that you need to select. You will then "Select Type of Work..." and this will provide you with a list of topical items that are consistent with the items in the Design Review Guidelines Document. Just complete the form and attach any prescribed additional information that is requested and submit.  You will receive an email conformation that the request was submitted.  You can then track the progress of attaining approval in ARC Tracker.  If you have any issues or need assistance, please contact the ARC Chairperson and they will assign an ARC Rep to assist you.

The ARC Functions are under the auspices of an ARC Internal Procedures document.  This document is maintained by the ARC and requires approval of the Board of Directors for any changes.
